Erica Daniels is a Cree/Ojibway award-winning documentary filmmaker, entrepreneur, and proud mother from Peguis First Nation. She is the founder and CEO of Kejic Productions, an Indigenous-owned media company dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices and stories for over 17 years. A Pow Wow Pitch winner and recipient of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business Young Entrepreneur Award, Erica has built her company around heart-centered storytelling that drives cultural revitalization, knowledge preservation, education, and social change.
A Canadian Screen Award winner, Erica’s work reflects her deep commitment to community, including projects like Aambe Biibiingdige Nabatabiin (“Come Sit With Us”), which connects Indigenous youth with Elders to preserve cultural knowledge through video, and Spirit of the Story, a film program empowering Indigenous youth to reclaim their identities through storytelling. Through her leadership and vision, Erica continues to grow Kejic Productions into a thriving Indigenous media company, creating opportunities for youth and sharing powerful Indigenous stories with the world.
